TODAY'S NEWS: I did read the entire Harry Potter series, but this inconsistency bothered me. I always felt like they were teaching kids some really dangerous things, yet there weren't a lot of safety protocols. Spells went wrong quite often, yet everyone was surprised when someone got hurt. And don't get me started on Quidditch! I would think that they'd be keeping stats on "Deaths Per Match!" How is magical dodgeball on high-velocity brooms at altitude a good idea!?!
