TODAY'S NEWS: Over the weekend, I read aloud the entire manuscript of the book of collected columns. It's time-consuming and hard on the throat (at least for those of us who don't spend hours talking every day), but it's a great way to catch missing words or other errors. I've sent the draft off to my Proofreading Minion, who will probably still find mistakes. I want to fix as many errors as possible, or it could mean giving away a LOT of Virtual Doughnuts.
