TODAY'S NEWS: In case you don't get the reference, "Helen O'Loy" is the name of a science-fiction short story by Lester del Rey, first published in 1938. The character of the same name is a robot built to cook and clean, so it's not surprising that someone who is amused by classic references and wordplay would choose "Helen Alloy" as a name for a housekeeper femdroid.

The comic got a lot of hits from some forum posts and StumbleUpon.com over the weekend. If you're a New Reader: Welcome! May I recommend that you start from the beginning? Or if you want the short version now, you can read the synopsis here. Either one will reduce the "What the hell is he going on about?" reaction by 17.3%!
