TODAY'S NEWS: Science is strangely quiet about which dinosaurs shot laser beams from their eyes, and which ones had psychic powers. The Triceratops' bony frill and horns have obvious benefit as defensive weapons, but they might be an array for a powerful psionic blast. In fact, couldn't the entire Cretaceous-Tertiary Extinction Event be caused by an conflict between mutant dinosaurs with superpowers that escalated beyond control, ending in a fiery Doomsday Apocalypse (similar to those in every anime movie from the '80s)? We certainly can't rule out the possibility.
Science should really be asking the question, "Wouldn't dinosaurs with psychic powers be even more awesome?" The answer is obviously "Yes."
I'm very pleased and excited to have just received my copy of the "Tiny Ghosts Anthology" in the mail! You may recall that I mentioned Tiny Ghosts in my "A Webcomic What I Like" segments (although The Author claims it's not really a comic). Not only is it pretty cool to have a hardcopy version, but I'm quoted on the back cover. So you can see why I HAD to get a copy, right? And I'm not being paid to say this, so you know I'm sincere, that if you haven't read any Tiny Ghosts, I think you should check it out.
