TODAY'S NEWS: Here's the info on the Workshop I'm presenting this weekend:

Why and How To Start Your Own Webcomic

Ever consider creating a comic of your own? Using examples from various webcomics, this one-hour overview will cover some of the how-to basics for selecting a concept, style and format, and the tools for translating your comic ideas to a digital form. The course will also explore options for putting your work on the Internet for others to see.

Who: Primarily for teens and adults, but suitable for computer-confident pre-teens.
When: 12:30 -- 1:30 p.m., Saturday September 22nd, 2007
Where: Woodstock Public Library Meeting Room, 6008 S.E. 49th Ave, Portland.

Due to library policy, attendance is limited to 30 people, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
