TODAY'S NEWS: You may not track the rankings of this comic very closely, but we had some impressive results when we rolled into the New Year. We shot up to #22 on TopWebComics.com! Since then, we've settled down toward the #40 spot, drifting up and down a bit. But that's very impressive! I used to wonder if we'd ever break into the Top 50. Right now we're #41 out of 1,595, and that's with about 5% of visitors voting. Imagine where we'd be if HALF of all visitors voted? That would be great!
A Webcomic What I like:Spamusement by Steven Frank. What I Like About It: It's absurd. And such a simple concept: One-panel comics based on actual subject lines from spam emails. The artwork is unrefined (which seems in keeping with weirdness of the source material), but often very effective, such as the wide-eyed look of the woman reading Vogue in the hair salon. Not all comics are winners, but there were enough to keep me going through the entire archive in one sitting. Some are NSFW. Note: I love funny typos and run-together headlines, and this comic seems to be in the same niche. Apparently not everyone finds those sorts of things as amusing as I do, but if they make you laugh, Spamusement may as well.
