TODAY'S NEWS: It's no great feat of psychic divination to predict that there will be a metric crap-ton* of sunburned people showing up at work today in the Portland metro area. It's just what happens. You may not know that people in Portland MUST spend the first sunny weekends after the Rainy Times either at one of the local rivers or lakes, or eating on the patio/sidewalk of some restaurant, or in a public park (picnic, frisbee, walking dog, etc.). And lots of them seem to forget how sunscreen works, or that it's needed, especially on pale skin that's just been through winter in the Pacific Northwest.
