TODAY'S NEWS: Stumptown Comics Fest was great! I got to talk to lots of people, some of whom had heard of my comic. I also met a bunch of other artists, including three who were particularly agreeable: Jack Kent, who produces the comic Gulls. Neal Skorpen, who produces the comic The Introvert Manifesto. He did a "Comic Jam," where other artists filled in panels to make a comic. I declined, since I don't draw so well, but Minion Dawn stepped up and did Panel #3. Third is Micheline of TheBandMates.com, which has a comic, but is mostly "Rock 'n Roll Plush Toys." She came in Sunday saying she started reading my comic on Saturday, and was greatly entertained (you can't go wrong by telling me I'm funny).

It was an enjoyable weekend, but exhausting. Now, I'm already planning for next year...
