TODAY'S NEWS: I've been thinking of doing some more screenwriting (I know, as if I need more projects), so I spent a while over the weekend analyzing the scene structure of the movie "The Whole Nine Yards." I enjoyed the film when I first saw it years ago, and thought that the pacing and plot were well constructed. I was surprised to learn that most of the scenes are less than three minutes, but longer scenes happen at the end of the first two acts. Goes to show that each scene can be pretty short, if it serves the purpose. Anyway, that's what I did this weekend. Plus this comic.
