TODAY'S NEWS: Many people have wondered why Extraterrestrials built the Pyramids. Personally, it wouldn't surprise me if it some alien professor had submitted a grant proposal for something like "Surmounting Cultural and Linguistic Challenges Inherent In Inciting Mammoth Engineering Efforts in Pre-Civilization Races", on a lark, and was then surprised when it was approved. And once you've got funding, you HAVE to do something, or you won't get more money later. So squads of grad students were dispatched off planet to goad the Earthlings into building huge stone monuments that they didn't need. Makes sense, right? I mean, why else would a highly-advanced race travel astronomical distances just to get early-civilization humans to make huge piles of stone blocks?
